A short 5 minutes walk in the village of San Miguel, you will find a few good restaurants serving both canarian and international cuisine, as well as some snack bars.
A 10 minutes drive will lead you to the authentic and lovely fishing port of Los Abrigos, hosting a good variety of fish and seafood restaurants.
The seaside towns of El Medano, Los Cristianos, Playa de Las Americas and Costa Adeje are around 15 kms away, and host a very large number of restaurants catering to the international clientele.

- Playa El Medano, along the little town of El Medano, is a world renowned kitesurfing spot. Its hosts every year the windsurfing world championships.
Teide National Park
One of the touristic highlights of the Canary Islands. Named a World Heritage Site by Unesco, the park has an area of 19,000 hectares.
Its attraction lies not only in its volcanic origin with Mount Teide 3718 meters high but in its botanical diversity. The park offers a unique scenic road as well as tens of footpaths and hiking trails. A cable railway can also take you to the top.
Starting in San Miguel is an interesting 7.5 kms long hike (SL-TF-231) going to the village of Aldea Blanca.
Banks, a grocery store, a bakery and a post office are situated a few minutes walk away in the village of San Miguel.
